UK Registration

Good Afternoon,

We are a UK company with a new German VAT Number, but I am struggling to register as I am only being given territories in Germany as an option for the address. Where can I enter the UK country code so I can get through a complete registration? Help gratefully received.

What do you mean with VAT Number? The Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer or the Steuernummer? How do you want to register?

You can register with your Steuernummer. You will have to chose the german state where the Finanzamt is located, that gave you the Steuernummer.

I'm afraid yes. For the registration you should have the Steuernummer.

As far as I understood, you should request one from the Finanzamt Neubrandenburg.

Maybe the link that I posted is concerning registrations especially for Elster, while your link is for companies, that have to submit tax declarations in Germany. I don't really know
